This is Siemens attempt at fusing a mobile phone with a digital camera.

 

Pros

Picture quality is 1.3 Megapixels as opposed to the more common 0.3Megapixels

Pictures can be illuminated by built-in LED

Stylish and functional swivel action clamshell iPod-esque design

Has 18MB of built-in memory

65,000 colour display

Infrared wireless technology

Java application support

Sixty-four chord polyphonic tones

Integrated hands-free speaker

 

Cons

1.3 Megapixel quality is poor compared to that of most dedicated digital still cameras

Built-in camera lacks an optical zoom facility

No memory card slot or other way of increasing the devices memory

No Bluetooth

 

Cost: c £140 inc. VAT SIM Free. Cheap or even free with contract.

 

Star Rating: 7 Stars  On board camera is poor compared to almost any dedicated camera. If youre genuinely interested in taking pictures, buy a digital camera. A pointer to hybrid designs of the future.

Keyboard is too small and rather awkward to use effectively

No memory card slot or other way of increasing the devices memory

 

Cost: c £300 inc. VAT SIM Free. Cheap or even free with contract.

 

Star Rating: 7 Stars  Built-in Blackberry is a real plus but this device would benefit from a much more usable keyboard.
